help! iPad mini glitch problem - what to do?

hi! this just happened all of a sudden this afternoon.
while watching a video using media player app, my ipad mini suddenly froze during the video. I can't switch it off. I can't reboot. upon attaching to charger outlet, it will not charge. connecting it to the PC via usb cable, it can't be read by the PC, nor will it appear in itunes.

so currently my ipad mini is still on glitch mode with the video frozen on the screen.

this is a fairly new ipad mini. around 1 month and 1 week since I bought it.

any ideas on what's wrong with it and advice on what to do with it? should I have this fixed?

hard reboot man guro need...

hold and press Home and Sleep/wake button until iOS device turns off, wait for apple logo then release. yup that is hard reset. if nothing happends to your mini, consider restoring to latest ios firmware using itunes.
