HELP ME! I need advise what to do with my son :(

My son is hyperactive. Sikat na kaau ni sya sa school nila because he is know nga slow kaau mo suwat, mang disturb sa iyang classmate during class ug grabe ka ki-at. Kada school year (3 successive years) iyang teacher mag ugtas jud niya. Karon nga Grade 2 sya mao mn japon. Abi namo wala na inig dako.

Problema kaau mi kay ulaw na kaau atubang sa mga teachers niya nya same ang complain bahin niya. We did our part, ipa praktis namo sya ug write sa balay, dli pakan-on ug sweet foods kay maka samot sa iyang pagka hyper active.

Very smart mn sya. Dali ra sya makakuha sa lesson but ang problem is dili jud sya ma puyo. Murag iyang thinking pirmi is duwa ra jud. E ask namo sya why mn mag bad sya sa school daghan kaau sya ug pasangil. Wla nami kabalo sa buhaton.

Need your advise here. Hope maka tabang mo ug suggest unsay buhaton or maka suggest Kinsa nga doctor duolon pra maka evaluate sa iyang behavior pra makabalo mi unsa buhaton.

I think this is a case of inborn ADHD.. try to look for a psychiatrist.. Most cases nga ing.ani ang tambal rah gyud is focus on something that the child wants. Some go into sports.. but it's very important that the child chooses what he wants to do, probably the reason why hinay musuwat is because dli xa ganahan m.suwat.. try intervention.. Get him hooked to sports or any hobby that he wants, then relate writing to that hobby. para maganahan xa..

ipa-check up sya sa miga sa psychiatrist...if money is an issue, naay psychia clinic sa vicente sotto ...reliable pud ang mga doctors didto...or adto sa velez hospital sa clinic ni dr.edwin menguito...psychiatrist na sya...
naa pud sa chonghua hospital sa medical arts bldg. psychiatrists....try sa clinic ni dr. jacqueline chua or sy man tingali to iya last name..
kinahanglan jud ug help imo anak.....godspeed...

and yes, you will need to see a psychologist...NOT a psychiatrist...since your kid is normal...only that problem...
try Dr.Boholst dapit Cebu Doctors Univeersity Hospital...
he's the dean (i think) of USC Psychology department...

Sis, all kids need attention.
First, make sure he gets enough attention sa balay. Praise his works. Listen when he talks. Compliment his good actions. Spend a lot of time with him. Gradually, he will feel secured and loved. Pero do not spoil him. Make him face the wall if he disobeys your orders. In this situation, you have to be firm. Children need to recognize you are in authority. They will defy you the moment they feel that they can control you. Discipline them while they are young.

Hello TS, I've handled hyperactive kids before,so it's hard to say that your child is labeled ADHD unless diagnosed by a qualified doctor. So consult first w/ either of the ff: child psychiatrist, child psychologist or a neurodevelopmental pediatrician. There are 3 dev peds in Cebu namely: Dra. Myra Altonaga of Borromeo building at the back of Cebu Doc hospital, Dra. jacqueline Espina of Chong Hua Medical Arts and Dr. Seno of ILLC, Banawa.
Good thing TS that he's not taken in sweetened and processed foods because it will make him more hyperactive. Please refrain from letting him play w/ tablets or any other electronic gadgets, and watching TV for more than an hour.
