sorry, but i hate to disagree nga kung lower ang caloric intake mo lose ka ug weight. well, there is a little truth to it but you also have to take into consideration the nutritional content of what you are eating. for example, the food that you took has a low caloric content but high in carbo, sugar and fat. this will spike up your blood sugar, ang result, ma satisfy tuod ka ug dali, but dali ra pud ka gutmon. instant noodles are full of preservatives and salt, almost zero nutritional value. consider protein like eggs. low in calorie, depends how you cook it, if you fry it, the oil adds to its caloric content. pero kung hard boiled, barely 80 calories ra. protein helps muscle building and makes you fuller for a longer time mao dili ka dali gutmon. oatmeal, fruits which is low in calories, mostly water and is very nutritious. ug gusto ka dali ka makakaon, cook your meals ahead of time, or make fruit slices, stock on yogurt and steamed tofu, ibutang sa fridge, i microwave lang nimo when you are about to eat it. why im saying this and why im certain that this is going to work, this is what i personally follow. lost over 15lbs only in 3 weeks time. kung ma hit na nako akong desired weight, i will post a before and after pic. diet and exercise is the key jud.
^^ agree... i would also like to add that one should never skip meals.. and tailor a diet regimen fit for you and your lifestyle. I personally eat 5 mini meals (bfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner) and plenty of water or tea in between (the tea I prefer is the japanese green tea or any of the lipton variations without sugar ni pag brew).
so it's usually...
6am - oatmeal (australia harvest rolled oats) with a glass of Anlene
10am - a handful of cheding's peanuts (oven roasted) or a few cubes of eden cheese (gi cube beforehand para madali ug dala dala
12nn - whatever is in the canteen
3pm - a couple of squares of dark chocolate or a pack of crackers or a slice of fruit
6pm - light dinner
i don't restrict myself on what i eat but i control how much i eat and i add in light exercise (just walking instead of riding a cab, taking the stairs instead of the escalator, etc. and before sleeping sometimes just a couple of sets of crunches or leg raise )
bisag unsang pagkaon basta disiplina na jud ang kinahanglan.
it's a good thing nga you never skip your breakfast. Mas daghan man gud ka makaon if ga skip ka og breakfast. Ako na observe na nikaon nako og daghan breakfast ga loose nako og weight compared sa una nga sige lang ga dagdag ako timbang. Gamay naman lang gud pud ko makaon sa udto kay feeling nako busog pako. I make it sure though na naa jud ko eggs. Study shown man gud daw na if moakon ka eggs for breakfast, you'll loose weight. Careful lang sa kadtong mga tag-as og cholestorol nga they should not eat more than three egg yolks in a week pero sa puti, unlimited na.
balik2 naman ni na thread bro.
akoa ky oatmeal w/ crushed almonds, honey ug banana.
alternate w/ brown bread, lean meat, cottage cheese, and fresh orange juice.
This is the best advice for your problem TS. But if you really couldn't help but eat fatty foods cause they are easier to prepare, you can still take the concept of caloric deficit by doing cardio, specifically HIIT or High Interval Intensity Training which is by far the best workout type for weight loss.
