excited to build a decent rig

after namatay akong reallly old setup kay naguba ang mobo naka tigom nami enough to buy a new one. 30k or less mao rajud, nothing more, perhaps after selling the old components naa guro extra

what i already have:
optical drive
hard drive
550w dynamo psu (not sure if im going to use it sa new rig o dili, what do you all think)
monitor
speakers
keyboard and mouse

important things i need to think about

• it will be for gaming and downloading torrent(mao bana tawag nila sa torrent rig?)
• nya naa sad gamay char2x, like the lights and those meters, para pimp sad gamay bah -- not really necessary
• wala diay ko casing so pili ko atong antec 300 (na wala ko kabaw asa paliton) o katong acrylic na sunbeam, or any silverstone na at least 4k ang price tag.
• amd o intel?
• those ocz memory cards look good also
• unsa na vid card?
• mo fit-in paba sa budget ang lighted fans and those cathode?
• cooling system sad and those heat sinks unsa nindot?
• mobo diay unsay nindot na mobo

help mga pc builders mag ilog nami sa among misis sa akong laptop na gigamit karon. hehehe dili ko kaduwa og dota sad



fyi: last time diay nag post ko dire of buying a new rig was not too long ago, kaso naka kita manko og 6600gt na vcard(imagine kun unsa na ka dugay akong pc) so ako lang gi stall.

mine is older a p4 the non ht version change some dead parts and it still run good for torrent but i dont think its good for the electric bills

i might need to build some atom rig for lower power usage


if your new rig include a new monitor get as much extra budget for the gpu

decent low power consumption mobo since you also do torrent downloading...
c2d proc would do...
2gb ram would be just fine...
4770 if available... or 8800gt...

what about casing og power supply, kinahanglan ilisan akong psu or do i keep the 550w?

Ay na lang na imo PSU kay mura dili na true rated. Palit nalang ug better branded PSU na 2-3k ang price 500 watts like HEC.

For the casing, go for antec 300 or silverstone, or if it were up to me Lancool dragonlord.

ATI 4770 videocard, pangitaon na bro pero good bang for the buck, mga 5k.

yup yaw lang generic PSU bro kay luoy pud imo other parts madaot... better get Silverstone/Hec/Coolermaster...

nice bitaw jud na ATI 4770 pero pagkapangitaon man pud anang mananapa oi... if wala najud lain, 8800GT would do the job...
