Lightbulb Do i need to hire an Accountant or a Bookkeeper?

Guys, I'm planning to practice my profession as a Real Estate Broker. I'm asking advice from thus who have started their own business or their profession, My question is do i have to hire or outsource an accountant or a bookkeepper for my business? Or I will do it myself filing the tax return and etc............. I'm just starting, I know it is pricy to hire them. I would like to hear your advice and thoughts on this matter.

I would suggest hire a bookkeeper. Mag retainers fee lang ka, it will range between Php 1,000 to Php 2,500 pero depende. That way, ma free up imo time para sa imo clients or sa pamilya or mga extra curricular nimo instead of going to bir personally every month. Always ask for receipts jud. With regard sa accountant, di man kaayo ko swito gud sa real estate or brokerage business kay retail man ko. But i think consult2 lang sa siguro. I hope that helps.

Mura ra man ka ana'g self-employed Sir. You dont really need the bookeeper.
As far as i know, you can just declare your income at the end of the taxable year.
Be sure lang to document your income and expenses and file them properly.

Naa napud tay monthly and quarterly filing bro, mao nay sayop sa ubang broker, by the time, they plan to retire/close their registration with the BIR, bam...naglaray ang open cases (unfiled and unpaid BIR returns), meaning, nag accumulate ang penalties.

Mas maayo cguro at first hire ka ug bookeeper to insure all things are taken cared of.
During the time nga naa nkaBookeeper, try to observe and learn what they are doing
if kamao nka then kaw nlng timbang2x kung kaya rba nimo kung ikaw ra or mas maayo naa
