Why I can't save php file in my /var/www/ ?

I have 12.04 verson sa Ubuntu. Pero why I can't install php file in directory /var/www/

naa na bah nag dagan na existing web service usually apache? or ikaw ra na install sa web server nimo if naa na usually kaay naa na sila lain na directory na ge set ang default sa ubuntu.

unsa ang err0r brad? when you mean install diha nga direct0ry nim0 ibutang php mism0 or php (application) you mean
c0py the .php files t0 that directory.

sudo chmod 777 /var/www/

by default /var/www is locked and can only be written with a user with root access... unless you change the write access to the folder...

changing its file ownership would also do the trick..

sudo chown -R nobody.nogroup /var/www/

Afterwards, if human na project, then set it back to its default file ownership.
