Dual Booting

Brod. good pm. I have problem on clarification on dual booting..
1. Is dual booting meaning like win7 and win8 boot simultaneously or you just alt+tab then from win7 auto transfer to Win8? how?
2. Or you will choose which windows you want to boot?
I am confused is that simultaneous running or just to choose which one you want to boot?

dual boot means u have 2 OS installed on ur pc(any os pwede, linux, winxp etc..) and on different partions..

once mo.boot imu pc, u will have 2 chose w/c OS u will use.. but not simultaneously mo.boot ang duha ka os ug alt.tab lng..

It means you have 2 OS in your one machine. It can be only use one at a time.

if you want simultaneous you go for Virtual machine.

If you want dual OS windows 7 and windows 8, you should set your hard drive's partition into 2, first partition will be windows 7 and second partition will be windows 8, inig power on nimo sa imong PC then you will be given a choice either boot your OS to win 7 or win 8.
