I believe that this lady was already sick in the head, but her environment made it worse as time progressed. If this lady lived in the Philippines, I don't think she would have committed such an act. The impacts of her surroundings on her mental illness would have been different. Simply, the system in the Philippines would produce a different effect on this lady's mental illness and she would have probably done something different.
