Hello,. my Mom Is having A severe vertigo.

Hello Guys out there. I am posting for my mom's condition.

She was experiencing on and off vertigo for the past years I think, And when she got her general check-up the Doctor Says that it is only a vertigo.

But that was 9 months ago. But still there is no effect to the drugs given by the doctor.
As far as I know guys, Vertigo is also related to inner ear condition As i observed my mom she's not experiencing any Ear Function Difficulties.

I posted this ad since My mom was complaining for a severe vertigo now, Is it possible, even if my mOm does not have the inner ear dysfunction or something will be diagnosed by the doctor as Vertigo.


My mother has High in cholesterol level. But we checked its cholesterol level now but it is still normal. We also checked its Blood Pressure, it is also normal.

Do you have any opinion about this?
Or any diagnostic exam that can help figure out this kind of health problem?

Is CT Scan Can help? And may I know how mUch it will cost.

C.T. scan can help jud.. kato sa akong auntie, she's also experiencing vertigo... nya normal ra tanan iyang V/S. mao to advice for CT scan... pag 2008 pa to cya gi CT scan, nakalimot nako pila to nabayran. barato among nabayran kay s sotto mi ngpacheck-up nya sa chong hua cya gi CT scan. na hibaw an nga brain tumor jud pero gamay pa... ok na intawn ron akong auntie... hinaut lang unta nga d na mubalik iyang tumor...

The vertigo ur mom is experiencing could be BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). Naay test ana to know if its under BPPV. If sudden change of head position causes vertigo then it could be a BPPV. D man kinahanglan naa kay ear dysfunction para ul know naa kay BPPV. Age plays a factor. Try reading about BPPV... Second, imo mom, nalipong or nglight headedness cya... Usually mao bya niy problem. Wrong pagkarelay sa patient sa doctor iyang nafeel... Lipong means vertigo... Kakuyapon means light headedness...

broi have the same problem before.. consult with a neuro preferably dr. apollo sitoy of cebu doc.fortunately if same mi case sa imu mom he'll give her a medication.very effective since then wla njud mubalik ako vertigo.
