WE CANT GIVE YOU A TALENT FEE BUT ONLY A VERY BIG APPRECIATION..
BIG APPRECIATION can'T buy us some gears... are you willing to give your hair accessories for free in exchange for the shoot?
sorry for being a troll....![]()
is this open for newbies? just asking. duol raman ko sa SRP gud nya basin maka dalikyat ko gamay ba for this event.
i'm still a 1 year old photographer and i completely agree with szichri... this kind of strategy to get shooters is just a way of undermining the professional photo industry.

So i won't have to explain myself on why I say "shooting for free is undermining the professional photo industry", here's a quote from the comments on the link I provided:

For all those of you that think working for FREE to get experience is ok, or that it is ok to work for free for friends, answer these questions first!
1. You have been arrested on a DD and are likely to lose your licence and your job.. your best mate is a Solicitor/Lawyer/Barrister, no go and ask them to defend you in Court for Free for the 'experience'.
2. You are backing out of your garage and run into a concrete post causing £200/£300 worth of damage to your car in parts and paint, but hang on, your mate down the road has just opened a bodyshop, go and ask him to repair your car for free for the 'experience'.
3. You have an absys on your tooth, it's been killing you for ages but you can't afford a Dentist, but hang on a moment, George from college is a Dentist, go and ask him to remove the tooth for free...
Now whilst some will offer you 'mates rates' etc, I very much doubt they will work for FREE or for the EXPERIENCE, why, because they are in business and if you want to be taken SERIOUSLY as a Professional Photographer, remember it is a business....!!!
On the other hand, I just bought a set of tools for £1K, does it make me a mechanic now, will anyone let me work on their Porsche for the 'experience' I need or would you rather take it to a garage.
Come on people, get a grip and treat the Profession with a Professional Attitude and act Professional.
Sorry if I come off as a hater but I'm sure this insight will help us pursue our passion while avoiding damage to the people who take up photography as a profession.

Yes we do that even more often. We share our hair accessories especially to those who deserve to have it. We are looking for someone who can share their ideas on this as requested by newbies who wants to join us. It is not our FB Page who needed a prof photographer coz I can shoot anytime. Usually, we have prof photographers who give tips, ALBERTO ABAY is one of the few and we usually give tokens for them... We know a lot of photographers who that for free but doesn't have time as of the moment coz what is important for them is not the money and competition, they are more conerned of the exposure that they will be getting
MY brother is a professional photographer and he does that a lot, and I Think the level of exposure that he got right now isn't the same as to others coz he is in hollywood shooting for a big magazine company.
If you are not willing, then we can always cater to other people.![]()
