Smartbro prepaid connected, but doesn't work online

Hello, I'm from abroad and just bought smartbro prepaid after being recommended it as trouble free.. Well it's not. I have installed it and I get to connect to internet, and it blinks green. But when I try to open a web page, it doesn't work at all, it's like I'm not online. Sorry for not using more hi tech language. Can anyone give me a hint on what is wrong, if so please reply in english.

try to check on the received data on kbps, its on the lower right side, is the data moving or is it steady on 0.00? have you loaded it?

if you are using the plug-it modem, you will experience this one. from experience it usually takes 10mins to initialize (assuming it has been loaded) to get connected to the internet, even when you are connected as the software says, it may just be able to get good signal from the 3g/hsdpa network, but not allow you to connect to the internet.

what i usually do is disconnect, close the software and wait 10 minutes, then start the software again and reconnect. all these assume you have loaded your smart bro # enough to get you connected to the internet...

having a green light indicates that you were not able to connect to a 3g signal. maybe you don't have 3g signal in your area.
