i badly need help regarding GSIS!

good day all and i hope you can help with my delima...

my mum recently died last december 10 accidentally and as her beneficiary together with my younger sis (20) and brother (17) i started working on her papers for gsis as she is an elemtary school principal. the problem is that GSIS doesnt seem willing to help me and explain to me what my mum and us siblings what we rightfully deserve...

she was 45 years old when she dies and my father is not around also so i am the one who is processing the papers.

1. Burial Aid - said i was supposed to receive 20,000 pesos 2 weeks after i filed the papers but its been 2 months already and still no sign of the check and we badly needed it.

2. minor beneficiaries - they said only my brother is considered as the minor because he is 17 and my sister is of legal age already but i read in her Policy that 21 and below are still considered minors and they said that to get money for the minors we have to wait 15 years since my mother 45 years only and needs to be 60 in their system.

i think that idea is stupid coz if we have to wait 15 years then my 2 siblings are not minors anymore.

3. they said i have to wait for 15 years before they will give monthly pension to us which doesnt make sense at all.

4. consol loan - my mums friend that my mum is still entitled for the console loan. nobody from gsis mentioned about this,

5. accidental death benefit - according to what i have read here in the internet we are supposed to recieve double the amount because she was murdered while in service. but no body from GSIS ever mentioned it.


pls, if anybody knows anything about this, i would gladly appreciate ur idea...

and also, does public school teachers get any financial benefit from Dep Ed??

regarding sa burial aid dugay gyud bitaw sya makuha.moingon lang ang gsis nga within a month pero more than 2months namo nakuha ang burial aid sa akong papa.

if you don't mind unsa nga aksidente ang cause pagkamatay sa imong mama?

Lonelytoes ill try to ask a friend to help you at the GSIS cebu, ill try to call her if she's still there or if not, some of whom i used to work with. Btw can you PM me your mothers address and where she used to work? which GSIS you went and what kind of accident the cause of your mother's passing.

tsk tsk tsk... sad to say... burial assistance... ayaw na og expect ana... perting dugaya ei release ana... naay ka dugan ako mom pag process sa GSIS august 2009 pah... until now.. wala pa ang burial assistance.. imong 2weeks himuon nila og 2years... cg cguro ni ampo si winston makadaug si manny og si gibo.. wew... wish you luck winston...

naa nagtxt sa ako taga gsis na naa na daw ang burial. ako man main concern kay according sa mga kauban ni mama sa trabaho kay daghan pa daw xa makuha specially na dako iya posistion. pero gnadeny sa gsis and dili pa jud cila willing mutabang!

mao gyud sis... wala natay mahimo anang GSIS... kad2 panahon ni erap kay daghan kaau benefits ang mga public workers... karon gpang tang2x kay wala nay budget.. ambot asa ang kwarta sa GSIS nganu cg man sila mahutdan... ang g contribute sa imong mama sa GSIS nahulog na lng og TY.. wew...
