"MTV EXIT is a campaign about freedom -- about our rights as human beings to choose where we live, where we work, who our friends are, and who we love. Most of us take these freedoms for granted, but hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world have had these basic human rights taken away. They are victims of trafficking - modern-day slaves -- and criminals have forced, defrauded, or coerced them into various forms of labor, or prostitution. "

MTV End Exploitation and Trafficking (EXIT) is a campaign to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking. In partnership with USAID, Visayan Forum Foundation (VFF), MTV EXIT is producing extensive live events in the Philippines (there has already been one in Manila).

The War Against Trafficking (WAT)-Cebu will be coordinating the event here in CEBU.

The aim of these concerts is to REACH AS MANY PEOPLE ACROSS THE PHILIPPINES as possible from diverse geographic and socio-economic backgrounds with the campaign's key anti-trafficking messages.

Before the CEBU concert, attendees can meet and march together to SM Northwing Parking Lot.

Details:
Prior to the concert on October 24, the War Against Trafficking organizers would want to invite everyone to join in the Walk Against Human Trafficking.

This "Walk" will be a show of unity and committment in the cause. Participants will assemble at the Mabolo Church Grounds at 3:30pm-4:00pm and head towards SM North Parking Lot for the Concert.

Participants are enjoined to bring their organizational banners/streamers ".. with the following text ___ Joins the War Against Trafficking"
