Dual Monitor in one system....Problem

I have heard that Dual (or more) monitor in one system can be done. I have computer with a built-in video adapter, and I have bought one video card and inserted it in the free slot of my motherboard. I have also bought another flat screen monitor, and attached it to the new video card. But when I turn on the computer, the built in video card cannot display pictures anymore, but the new video card with the new monitor (the flat screen) does. It seems that the primary monitor or the default monitor has been changed to the new video card. In the device manager, only one monitor is being displayed (to view the my device manager image, click here). If I will view the properties>Settings, there is no monitors listed (to view this image, click here)


What I want is that the two monitors will work together in one computer, so that, if I have a powerpoint presentation, I can work with it easily. Please, help me with this. How can I do this.

Thank you sa imohang reply,insect111! Actually, nakalimot mn ko, pero, naa ko'y software nga Everest Ultimate (mohatag sa pangalan sa mga hardwares), NVIDIA Vanta mn kuno ang pangalan...

murag outdated naman kaayo ng nvidia vanta bro. better try latest entry level gpus sa ATi or Nvidia.

Most motherboards dont allow the built in video and a separate video card to function at the same time. Most will default to the added video card right away and disables the built in video. There is no way around it.. better get a card that supports dual output. those are very cheap these days.

dude, naa koy nahibaw-an nga hardware na separated sa board... workstation ang name.. pwedi daw mag dual monitor pero it needs also another keyboard and a mouse.... murag duha ka computer isa lang ka system unit..

bro, better make sure of what you are saying before you post it here. mura man hearsay nang imo gipangsulti bro, which is totally wrong pa jud. maybe pasabot nimo thin client. but it has nothing to do with using two monitors nga mao ang gipangutana sa TS.

mao la na detect tig imo ghe taod ang cable sa extended monitor sa built in video card...

older chipset will not allow you to use both on board and built-in video at the same time. better post your specs so that we can check on it. or you can just buy a videocard with dual video output.
