Fs2004 doesnt require much graphics, pwede ra any reasonable Vcard, ang FSX or version 10, mao mag need ug hi end cards....all repaints/aircraft can be freely downloaded at avsim.com or flightsim.com..realistic in terms of graphics= not that much, but if you ask is it realistic in terms of the procedures, such as navigation, rules, flight planning i say YES it is, that is why its called simulator, it is not a game

Agrees with trazee. Basically, the only main difference between FS2004 and FSX is that the latter has more eyecandy. For me the bad thing about FSX is, some Philippine scenery addons designed for FS2004 need to be majorly tweaked in order to work in FSX...which is a pity, considering the beauty of the stuff that PFSGers turn out...

Mactan-Cebu International Airport by Manny3, PeterB and myself

    RPLL by Peter and Manny

    and many many more.

yeah, that is why since i had installed fs2004, i never looked back to FSX, sayang pa namn i bought it sa singapore..by the way bro can we possibly edit the flight plan (eg. RPVB (bacolod) to RPVM (mactan), we are always directed to make a straight in approach by the ATC, it would be nice if were going to do the approach pattern BASE, DOWNWIND etc.

If you want realism, don't rely on the AI ATC...best way is still to go online and log into VATSIM so that you'll be controlled by real people acting as tower I don't think the FS9 ATC always directs you to a straight in (at least in my experience)...especially if there's a stiff crosswind component...I think tower automatically readjusts what is the active runway (based on weather changes, esp if you have Active Weather on) and vectors you to the proper approach pattern for the active runway.
