Is the guy always expected to pay on dates?

Maybe it's a character flaw, but I seem to be obsessed with saving my money and planning for my future. Is it asking for too much to want a girl to pay for herself on dates? I mean, everyone works these days and makes a living, so why should a guy have to pay for a woman? There is a lot of poverty as well so I would also be unsure if a girl loved me or was just using me.

I've not really been dating because it's costly to shell out double the money on a meal. Plus women are so unreliable these days.. a girl says she like me then she does not reply my texts the next day and ignores me. Am I expecting too much wanting women to pay for themselves? Am I too kuriput for my own good?

ummm.. for me, kung kinsay nanghagad, maoy mubangka. but on the later dates like 3rd or 4th, you can split the bill.

maybe at the dawn of your relationship, a guy should offer to pay for bill during the date.. pero i just hope na ang girls won't take advantage on this... i know some girls will understand and will offer to pay the other half of the bill... practical na ta karon oi... tipid na ta pag ayo... if pwede lng gani tempura or siomai lng mu mag date.. basta labing! hehehe

lets just say take turns na lng sa pag pay sa bills...in that case its fair..dba? k ra mn if half sa pag pay but if its first date maybe its ideal if the guy will pay the bill...

paying for dates is a small gesture of saying "i can take of you". and it's only proper that a guy spends for, at least a majority, of the dates since guys are supposed to be the "provider" of the relationship.
