Here's an example... you were sent 1 chain text message requiring you to send the message to 15 people or your family will die in 3 days. Didn't you realize if you are going to send that 15 messages you would be actually wasting the time of those who receive it and you are actually making the mobile companies richer. Not all people with mobile phones uses the unlimited texting features.
Second example: There is this chain message in friendster requiring you to send to as many people about the love of Jesus Christ if not, the whole world would be doomed. Well, not everyone is a Christian and you can always pray in your private time and thank God instead of sending those messages making someones inboxes full of those junk.
Think before you act. These chain messages are annoying and full of BullS**t.

Think what if someone very poor with a very sick dying relative received that message (mosh's example number 1), you would then be responsible for causing so much distress in the receiver's heart kay tres na lang iyang load.
And kung tinuod pa na (again using mosh's example number 2), then please send me the damn chain letter so I can help save the world.
