    Default Internet Explorer Error

ok guys, i need assistance here. i am very noob in terms of trouble shooting. so here's my prob.

i visited a website once (i forgot what it was) and after a few minutes i got this error message:

"Internet Explorer has encountered an error and needs to close.
If you were in the middle of something, you might lose unsaved information.
    sorry for the inconvenience. "

Note: There are NO other option buttons except a single 'CLOSE' button at the bottom. I CANNOT SEE THE DETAILS OF THE ERROR.

and it's so darn annoying coz the error message pops up EVERY HOUR. Is this a virus or some sort of spyware?

i've downloaded some spyware and virus scanners and still the problem is there.

can anyone help me here? thanks!

yes it is but it's just lyk hiding it..

you just go to control panel--> add/remove programs-->add/remove windows components-->just uncheck IE & keep on clicking next.

much better to use mozilla or 3rd party browser
