    mo hatag ko ug example.

a lot of us admit that the masang pilipino prefers soap operas to educational shows/reading. and many of us say that this is one of the reasons we are poor. what can we do about it?

i've read about a No TV Day. small initiative, isn't it? but it's definitely better than doing nothing about it.

Naay nag start ug bookclub. Imagine bookclubs sprouting everywhere--we'll have a masa that reads instead of watchesTV shows full of defeatist drama.

these and your initiatives will add up to a social movement necessary for change.

if juan de la cruz has a lot more purchasing power, dili maglisud ang pilipinas. bisan unsa ka mahal ang palaliton, kung dagko ang minimum wage, walay problema kay maka palit gihapon ang ordinary employee.

    hongkong now has hyperwage.

alright. the question is, how do we translate that into actions? it's good to have awareness of concepts. now how do we concretize things.

the current direction of the world bank for me is a failure because of using "inflation-centric" economics which for me is only suited for first world countries.
the world and business leaders should pursue a "purchasing power - centric" economic strategy.

if we could raise at least $1.50 US/hour in Third world countries to increase purchasing power. i guess it will reduce the gap between the rich and poor.

hyperwage in third world countries will not result in oil price increase, etc...

@ mistesuave does it mean you, as a businessman, will commit to giving your employees hyperwage?

or we, as employees / jobseekers, should negotiate for that?
