1. I never had credit cards because it simply means UTANG.
I don't want to be called UTANGAN.
2. And I know what UTANGAN means. It means Don't Sleep Coz Your Head Is Tied
3. Y won't we live kung asa ra ta kutob? A mentor give me this proverb:
"KUNG MUBO PA ANG HABOL TIKUT-KOT USA. UNYA RA UG HAY-AD UG TAAS NA"
Living up to your means. That's what it is.
4. Ngano? Ug walay credit card dli IN? Ug walay credit card dli sosyal? That's foolishness.
5. I also know a comrade who avail a credit card kay gusto ug swipe-swipe. Really ridiculous.
And now, he's hiding.
^it's for convenience, bro. oh yeah, debit card nalang.
yeah debit card is the best.
Strict man gud ning credit card ky hadlok sila daganan. Plus dako pa gyud sila pildi if dili sila
ma bayran ky pwde ra ma takasan2x, mura sad ni sila insik style. Basta parti na sa money ky dna
matakasan as a part of the business.
in countries like the US, some institutions actually don't trust anyone with no credit card or NO CREDIT at all. Weird sila noh?
Para nato we don't trust people who owe money sa ila lahi. Credit is good for them. hmm...
deadma lang na sila brod. dont bother yourself much with the way they talk on the phone. nevertheless, its always an embarassment to the office and makalagot jud kaayu.
Lagi. That's y they collapse now.
The banking system of US, Europe and Middle-East... who are TOO CREDIT-FRIENDLY ... all falls like a domino.
US. Dubai. Finland. And now I was told that UK businesses are collapsing terribly. My client just lost her 4 jobs from 4 companies in a matter of 1 week! Terrible!
bottom line ani is:
if you already have a credit card, spend or use it wisely. be sure to pay on time for the very minimal amount you are asked by your respective bank so as not to incurr charges.
if you dont have & STILL planning to get:
better not get a credit card.
reason why i'm saying this is? I had first hand experience. I stopped working & the last pay was long overdue by 6 mos. so bills piled up. got very rude & nasty calls from these so called collection agents. from time to time they change their name, basically, "wlang mga modo". when they call & your not around, they threat anyone who answers the phone. lucky if your not living with your parents. so, heed my advice istoryans. if you don't want to stare at empty walls with your blood pressure shooting up, DONT GET CREDIT CARD. just paid TODAY the whole amount & YES make BARGAIN FOR THE AMOUNT YOU'LL BE PAYING TO CLOSE THE CARD. they had waived almost 20k for my charges.
this credit card are only for extra rich people.
