Credit Card: Collection Agent Harassments

I was away for 3 months, because our company sent me on a business trip outside the country... I was not able to pay my credit card for 3 months.... When i got back. My officemates told me that the agents called from 3-8 times a day... They started threatening to send someone over because they do not believe a word my officemate is saying.

Could they do that?! I have always been faithful in paying them... Are they really that desperate...

well its important you ask someone to pay it while you are away

their collection agents will always call you that is their job...

You obviously haven't been "faithful" for the last three months. Where you were in those three months is irrelvent. It was your responsibility to pay the minimum payment and you didn't. The fault is on you and yes they can harass you day and night until you pay up.

mata hari: if you we're gone for about 3 months, you should have informed the bank hotline like the 1-800-xxx-xxxx-xxx kung unsa buhaton nimo or unsaon nimo pag-bayad ana.

by the way, just remember, wla pa raba na-priso sa utang.

harass jud au na sila... naka experience ko kay ni resign ko ako work then wasn't expecting na dugay pa start ako next job. So, la ko ka pay for months. Then threat sila na if dili ko kapay sa minimum na amount due, ila ipabayad ang full. Ako ask agent calling, why ila ko pabayaron sa full amount na dili man gani ko kapay sa minimum. Medyo ungot siya kad**** then ingon Standard protocol daw. The next time na nawag, ako nephew ako gpatubag, while crying ako nephew... Basta credit card comp, maau mo abiabi ug pa applyon ka, inig mamiss nimo ug pay,, maau pud au mang harass... Dili ra ba na sila motuo kung unsa imo irason bsag true. Huhu

Sorry that you feel bad about how they treated you, but regardless of the reason you were late in payment (real or imagined), that's really how collections agencies work; they harrass people who are late in payment. Anyway, it's good you're back now so you can get finally your bills in order.

they're always like that.. all you need to do is to pay it on time... para dili ka ma harass.. if you are away for months.. let your realtives or family do it for you... that being responsible..
