I think selfishness is a trait most human beings have, not just Filipinos. That's why philanthropy is commended by everyone in the world.

Selfishness is not necessarily bad unless sobra na ka-excess ang tao materially. Kana, avarice najud nah.

I think we are, in general, inconsiderate--
Kana sang "utang na loob" nato, it doesn't reciprocate to being considerate, because lain man ang connotation to our so-called value.

I would like to add that another trait Filipinos have is being judgmental and bigotry. I think a lot of our mentality stems from those two as well.

kawatan nimo ug 100pesos inyong office, i-bangka nimo ug lunch sa imong officemate ang 50pesos, ang 50 para ugma na pud nga lunch....hahahaha at least dili ka selfish. bwehehehehe

2) Majority of filipinos care only their selves
3) The Crab and Colloquial mentality
4) There are too many politicians even if they are not
5) The Help-Me-Give-Me attitude a.k.a Stupid, Dumb and Lazy
6) Majority of filipinos nag labi lang sa yaw2x pero wala sa buhat
7) Ningas-Kugon
Bahala-Na attitude

but still i love this fckin country... but i hope that someday that this type of people will cease-to-exists....

Your post is manifesting what you probably do yourself. If by your thinking you are able to convince several more to do what you preach, and this reaches more and is understood by many more, perhaps this is why corruption is prevalent in our society, 'ginagmay, pero kanunay'.

At least by your opinion, I get to understand a bit about why 'corruption' is talked about often, but not acted upon with seriousness.
