Ang danger lang anang granule humidifier is magtubig na xa ... then if mahuwad... mabasa pud imo mga gamit.
Happened to me.

Hi g_girl. I've been using granules for 3 years now. I also asked a chemical engineer whose company imports industrial chemicals and he promises that there's no truth to the fallacy that calcium chloride emits fumes that can damage cameras. However, the liquid that gathers at the bottom of the container CAN be corrosive and damage camera gear so I just check on it from time to time to make sure that I throw away any excess liquid, wash out the containers very well and dry them thoroughly before refilling with granules and reusing.

I did some extra precautions na with my dehumidifier. I put 2 plys of toilet paper on it and covered put the entire thing in its own plastic for good measure to guard against leaks hehehehe magminaru na lang tang mga poberz :P

LOL! bugas.. ma ugman gud na ug suyop sa basa... mas maayo i.lunag nalng.. hehehehe.. resto use man rice to keep the salt dryish... I don't recommend rice pud kay eventually naai rice weevel mo gawas and mo eat sa rice leaving a lot of fine particle which maka sulod sa gears.. problema ang gawas
