    no, we only need to be tolerant and respect each others belief... as long as the right to life liberty and property are not violated, we should just mind our own business...

    What kind of principle should the people be united at? What kind of change are we talking about? Change for the better, or for the better of them, or for the better of yours? Who should lead us to change? Everyone wants change, thats what is always being promised by every new administration... As long as the leader plans to uplift all the people's lives through laws, he will always fall for the same traps through which he has criticize his predecessor.

    I meant, everyone complains to the government so that the government may give them some sort of benefit, not knowing how the government could ever do that without getting it from someone else first.

    this is what i rather call "the filipino" culture... it will take generations before "we" change for the better... for now, this is our bitter pill to swallow that we just have to accept who we are and what we are... too much freedom, too little discipline and respect... that's what "we" are...

    i think it's more of understanding oneself of who we really are and then we can understand each other...
