how to reset smartphone1 or htc tanager?

guys, my smartphone 1 or htc tanager kay ni hang tungod sa full na memory then dili nako ka erase ug mga file... how do i reset it factory settings?

please note that doing a hard-reset will erase your data (contacts, messages, sounds, homescreen, installed programs, settings, etc). Make sure to backup if needed.

1. Remove the Storage Card (MMC/SD) and turn-OFF the phone.
2. Power up the phone while holding voice recorder button.
3. When the screen is about to go white, immediately press and hold Action button.
4. Wait for 3 seconds or count 1 2 3 then release action key and immediately press it again.
Note: You should be in diag mode right now. In case you'll get the canary screen (tri-color screen), just remove the battery and repeat steps 2 and 3.

5. In the Diag Mode screen. Press 8 to Erase IPSM and wait for the PASSED note. This time all your data will be lost. You'll be back to factory settings.
6. Remove the battery and normally boot your phone. Please note that initial booting after hard reset will take a while. You just need to wait.
7. Your phone will perform IPSM checking and will ask you to restart.
