I also got something from the net. I dont know if it works, I havent tried it yet. well here it is...

If you want to hide files from everyone and you have an NTFS partition, you can do it by using streams. NTFS allows a file to have multiple streams using <filename>:<StreamName> syntax.

Open a CMD prompt and type:

notepad "MyFile.txt"

You will be prompted to create it. Click Yes. Enter some text and save the file. Do a DIR and record the size of the file. Now type:

notepad "MyFile.txt:secret"

You will be prompted to create it. Click Yes. Enter some text and save the file. Now type:

notepad "MyFile.txt:HideMe"

You will be prompted to create it. Click Yes. Enter some text and save the file. Now type:

DIR MyFile.txt

You will see that the streams are invisible and that the file size is the same as you originally recorded. Likewise, you will not see them in Explorer.

You may read/edit your data by typing:

notepad "MyFile.txt:secret"

The only way I know to remove the streams is to copy the file to a FAT partition and then back again:

Copy MyFile.txt A:\
Copy A:\Myfile.txt MyFile.txt

A copy from an NTFS partition to an NTFS partition will preserve the streams.

n my case bai..i have multiple partition & have 2 admin acct and active guest..

since i have some sensitive data i saved my files on my acct(admin) in dat way dili nila ma access coz naa man sila lain folders sa ila acct no need to hide them anymore but i still would want to save my files on another drive(data drive) kay lisod na au magka virus nya naa ako files sa c: nangita pako ug freeware nga maka hide jud sa file kay naa ako migo crack nga software pro la pa nko utingkaya.

ah... so what if daghan mo na administrators and everyone has access to anywhere. how will you hide the file kung ang tanan pwede man maka access.

I heard na naa daw batch file himuon or e run. wala pa ko kabaw unsaon ni. so I was hoping na basig naay kahibao diri mo himo ug batch file para mo hide ug files or folder.
