The B550 version would be better.
Much better VRM, PCI-e 4.0 support, guaranteed SAM support with Ryzen 5000, etc.

To put it in perspective, the B450 Tomahawk and Tomahawk MAX VRM is capable of around 125 amps of current draw, while the B550 version can almost manage 250 amps of current draw. The difference is that 125 amps isn't enough to run a Ryzen 9 processor at its full potential and is pretty close to the edge with the 5800X, while 250 amps is enough for 3900X/5900X LN2 overclocking.
