Not only would you lose 5lbs in a week, but try 5kgs. In 3days (kgs. IS WAY bigger than lbs., yes?).

Just either eat only salads without bread or anything else for 2 weeks, or go on a full yoghurt diet for 2 weeks.
Another vote for Paleo. Search on Tim Ferris 4 hour work week blog, there is some very good information there about loosing weight quickly and safely. His routine even includes a cheat day a week where you can eat what ever you want!
