i disagree with the geek factor. most developers go with unix based systems..there are tons of things to do with unix compared to a windows. one concrete example is the full use of SSH.

i am a windows user before then i switched to a linux system (Ubuntu) and i loved it when im doing programming stuffs in RoR. especially with the CLI which is so powerful.

so then i heard that mac is unix based system. so which makes me want it more. a unix based system added with great user interaction makes me love mac! and in terms of windows...gaming is the only thing that makes me want to use it.

you don't have to worry, when u buy a mac laptop it can run windows (its out of the context of this topic) but yeah, you can't run mac on windows ryt? XD

i got tired of those error messages in windows, really.

depende yan bossing matud pa sa akong autocad prof, mas dali ra ang mac kaysa windows. same thing happen with my nephew, when i showed him 2 laptop, windows and mac, mas nadalian xa ug navigate on mac. nindut lang ang windows tungod sa mga games na pwede nimo e-install.

i was an avid windows user before.. then gpalitan kog mac sa akong dad for school.. at first i thought lisod ang mac kay na-anad naman gud ko ug windows.. but after pila ra ka days of using it.. mas naganahan na nuon ko sa mac..

and besides.. you can install windows on mac man pud hehe

for me pc's and laptop's i use windows.. for other handheld devices like tablets and cellphones i use apple/mac . . = )

MAC for me.there is just something in mac that you cant resist.
