depende kung unsay gamitan nimo bro... kung wla kaau... nice ang Mac.
Pero kung for work or side line2... mas friendly ang Windows.

Mac OS :
Pros : Nindot Tan awon, Great battery Life unya mu ingon ang mga tawo "dato na siya ay kuyawa" and high resale value.
Cons : Limited Software Library, Restrictive so you cannot pick what parts go in your Mac, Not as Powerful as Windows, a huge price premium compared to similar PC's, Virus Count growing since user count is growing, Very Vulnerable to hacking kung targeton jud ka (about 90% of the time OSX is the one who falls first during Pwn2Own competitions.)

Windows :
Pros : Extensive Software Library (dali pa ang Jack Sparrow..hahahah), Direct X 11 for Games, Free Antivirus with Microsoft Security Essentials, Customizable, Cheaper than comparable macs
Cons : Viruses, Batig nawng (depende sa imo paliton ni), low resale value compared to macs

Mac vs Windows are usually a question of either Form or Function.
If form is more important to you, get a Mac.
If function is more important to you, get a PC.

well here is my thoughts about this....
I'll score both on a 10 point scoring system like in boxing!

Reliability = Mac 10 / Win 9

Mac is bundled with the hardware so it is guaranteed to work with less problems. although mac has less threats to viruses, it is not virus free and is pretty much vulnerable. Windows on the other hand is sold separately and often times have problems with hardware drivers and device drivers. Windows has a gazillion of threats and it is growing by the minute but despite this windows managed to overcome it by strengthening its security over the past years.

Ease of use = Mac 10 / Win 10

Now this is pretty much tricky to score but the key word is "simplicity". Most of the computer users are accustomed to windows user interface but the truth is mac is much easier to use with less hassle. to represent this think of the windows compatible mouse.....now think of the mac mouse.....yes mac has only one click-able button while windows has 3 atleast. this means that mac does not need complicated inputs.

Software library = Mac 8 / Win 10

Now here is a knock down! mac has a limited number of 3rd party softwares on its library while windows has almost everything. enough said ^_^

Speed FActor = Mac 9 / Win 10

Although mac is efficient even with low hardware specs, windows is still on the advantage here. i have played sc2 on both os on the same hardware via bootcamp and sc2 runs well under windows compared to running it on mac.

Coolness = mac 10 / Windows 9

Ah mac owned windows in this round like the way itouch pawned zune.

Geek Factor = Mac 9 / Windows 10

Now mac is pretty much to use but in exchange for this one is modifications and tweaks there is less things that you can do on a mac environment compared to windows. so windows owns mac on this round


and finally we have the...

conclusion

Mac = 56
Win = 58

Its a close call but Windows has a slight edge over mac. both are good operating system actually but we humans are born bias and it might be that i was born with a windows logo on my head.......
