Sweeney Todd?
Three words: THE BLOODIEST MUSICAL
For a Depp or Burton fan, it's a must-see

Acting: I really don't like Depp here (but he's getting an oscar nom!). He utilizes the same technique as when he does Capt. Jack Sparrow, you know what i mean?.. favorite actor in this movie is helena bonham carter - she's amazing
Story and Structure: at the back of your head, you will see it coming.. but it will still strike you hard in the end.. one thing i didn't really like is the back-story of sweeney (which wasn't fully explored) and we're supposed to feel for his vengeance?
Art Direction: great!
Make-up: this is one aspect of the film that i didn't really like..especially carter's
Music: the music is great - it's based from stephen sodheim musical. some great vocals, some are OK. but musical sequences are very amusing.
Characters: Enduring and captivating characters from sweeney todd to mrs. lovett to pirelli.. all important characters get proper highlights except perhaps johanna and her love story with anthony
Style: The same Burton-y style, except it's bloodier and creepier.. you'll figure out tim burton was the perfect director when you see it.

the best so far of the burton-depp movies... actually, depp won best actor for musical/comedy category in Golden Globes.. im so obsessed with Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett that i even downloaded the movie and its music after watching it twice in theater..
