hello guys,

i have a server running SLES10 SP1 OS, running as domain controller, mail and web server. my problem is i want to set admin rights to users of my domain... how can i do such thing? is it available on this system? unlike WINDOWS SERVERS which you can set admin rights to users....

For windows domain? For windows domain controller, read about SAMBA.
Or you mean internet domain (DNS)?
You want to run DNS server yourself? You must have a machine always reliably connected to the internet and run BIND. If you want your users to manage it, read about CPANEL. These are not easy. Not for beginners.

For mail server, I don't know the default mail transport on SUSE, but should already is installed. Exim most probably, read about it.

You can set users to have admin rights. Just add their username to /etc/sudoers. But you should trust them for they will have full control of your server.

Like windows, you need to be root to give root rights (root=admin).
