Default Router and IP Address Inquiry

    is that possible?

if ever naa nay thread ingon ani, please point me in the right direction.
    thanks!

1 address only. No work around. This is called NAT (Network Address Translation). Your router has only 1 IP address given by PLDT (unless you have a business account). This IP connection is shared by your LAN.

Incoming connection to the NATed LAN is also difficult because the router will not know where to connect. Port-forwarding solves this. You could specify which incoming port corresponds to your local LAN IP.

thanks for the reply sir. regarding port forwarding, do i have to do/set this if i just use my router for simple network activities (file sharing, printer sharing and internet sharing)?

No need to setup the router for file sharing and printer sharing.
But for internet sharing, the default installation of the router is enabled and has unrestricted all outgoing connection. What you can setup is the incoming connection by adding port-forward rules. Also some routers have QoS where you can control the bandwidth of each PC or service it uses for priority, example browsing can have lower priority than gaming.

unsa man purpose nimo gusto lain2 ka public ip add? any purpose is denied kay enabled na option82 sa tanan network devices nga maagian sa tanan i-forward nimo nga data but it needs court order to trace kay makalapas unya sa privacy rights nimo...
