Work on cardiovascular activities first and do it gradually. Walking is a good start, then jogging. Other good exercises are swimming, skipping rope, biking, and lifting weights. There are also some very simple ways to do exercises. Example: Instead of taking the elevator or the escalator, use the stairs instead.
Do some research or consult other people as to what kind of foods to eat and at what intervals. Eating habits matter a lot.
Just keep in mind that you must burn more calories than you take in.
