MOBO and CPU compatibilty

guys, good day!!! especially sa mga gamhanan!! :mrgreen:

does it follown na if ang mobo kay for Intel 775 chipset, any CPU as long as Intel 775 cya, ok na sa mobo?
likewise for AMD 939?

the numbers "775" & "939" are types of socket where u install ur processor(and of course ur processor should be of the same socket type with ur motherboard)

socket 775 is for Intel processors
socket 939 is for AMD processors

older models:
socket 478 for Intel processors
socket 754 for AMD processors

is there a mobo that any of you would personally recommend? im not an OverClocker...yet...

we cant recommend anything unless you specify what system your trying to build. intel or amd. and if your gonna try overclocking be sure to know what your doing, and have a high enough budget ready for the required specs.
