CONTEST GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS
1. Contest is open to all Filipino citizens, 16 years old and above.
2. Members of the CVA, NCCA Secretariat, and competition judges are disqualified from joining the competition.
3. Participants may join in the two categories, but allowed only one entry per category.
Submission of entries:
For Still Digital Art
must be in GIF or JPEG file format.
10 x 15 screen size,
maximum of 2MB file size.
For Animated Digital Art
must be flash format (.swf)
maximum of 2MB file size.
time limit: 30 sec.
must submit a storyboard
4. Download entry form. Entries shall be submitted only via email to
websining@ncca.gov.ph.
5. Deadline for submission of entries is on 20 January 2006 .
6. Entries may utilize scanned imagery and digital paintings via available graphics software (e.g. Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc.). However, all scanned photographs, symbols, or artworks from publications, or downloaded from the internet, whose copyright belongs to other artists or corporations/entities are not acceptable and shall be subject to disqualification. Only images made by participating artists shall be accepted.
7. Only original works shall be accepted. Awards given to works which are subsequently proven to be non-original will be revoked/reclaimed without prejudice to other legal actions.
8. The decision of the panel of judges shall be final and not subject to appeal.
9. Judging shall be in January 2006.
10. All entries will be included in the CD Catalogue.
11. The virtual exhibit of all the winners shall be posted on the NCCA website,
www.ncca.gov.ph. The physical exhibit will be announced later.
12. Announcement of winners and awarding of prizes shall be in February 2006.

All Cash Prizes will be subjected to 20% tax.
