    Default Battery Backup Question

Just recently bought a battery backup. capacity of 335 watts 585va ( which means nothing..i think you out to go for watts number)... . To my dismay it tells me that it full load capacity whenever i play crysis. I think i can turn off that option where it will turn on the alarm.. my question is because of the max capacity of 335 watts.. is it only giving that much to my system>? thus starving my 850watts power supply and the rest of my component..or the 335 watts only accounts if my power goes out and its basically telling me it cant provided any power to my system at all. I dont really mind if that is the case.. i only really use battery backup to provide clean power to my system and not time to shut down my pc. please let me know if you have any experience with how battery backup works.
    thanks.

your battery backup (ups?) is too under-rated for your PSU when your PC is running at full load. the ups can only provide up to 335w and might only be sufficient if your PC is either idle or doing very trivial tasks (at which time the PSU isn't putting out its full 850w).

i suggest you get a ups that has a higher capacity. if your PSU is rated at 850w, i'd recommend getting, say, a ups rated at 1000w or higher. either that or just plug your PC directly to the power outlet. good quality psus have circuits to stabilize the output rails even if the input voltage is fluctuating (to a certain degree). just don't plug it in together with appliances that have big motors (e.g. washing machine, vacuum cleaners, etc.).

unsa man d i imo load nga abot man ka 850 watts. usually ang cpu 200 watts raman. ang back upan kay cpu raman kasagaran just 2 save ur file and shut down your computer properly during brown out.
Gusto d i nmo nga mag work gihapon ka during brown out. If so. the question is how long would you like to work during b. out. If you want 8 hours then you need (200 watts X 8 hours) 1600 watts ups in this case. Its all up 2 you on what do you need.
