tiki sound wasn't really meant to be a serious record label like lighter records. it was just a medium for a group of friends who enjoyed progressive cebu music that was better than the rest. the bands under it(or used to be) were far ahead in their genre. so when udub and the ambassadors really went big, the label cannot support the people's clamor for the music and CD's. kay lisud man jud au pangitaun na cla sa una, u have to know the peeps jud and get it straight from them.

that is where alex lim came in, and made his lighter press records, and eventually bought out the ambassadors and urbandub's first albums para cla ang maka market ana nila.

as of now, murag smooth friction raman jud ang nabilin sa tiki sound.
