Default psp can't play mp3 files (HELP)

try ko transfer ug mp3 songs sa psp, the transfer appear to be successful but ig play na sa song, it only plays for less than 10 seconds then i get a prompt that the file is corrupted.. then if mo adto ko sa lain menu like movies or games,etc.. ig balik nako sa music, mo play na sad siya but still for a few seconds only..

unsa problema ani? anybody here experiencing the same problem? thanks!

heard the same thing before... its either of the following :

    1. your memory stick is corrupted --- try a different stick
    2. your firmware, napa ka sa 3.71m33 or -2? murag ubay2x paman ang mga bugs ani nila, so far sa -3 or -4 wala pako na dakpan na bugs

im using 3.71-m33-2 with no problems at all, mp3 works fine, either your MP3 songs are really corrupted OR your stick is bad. try reformating it and see what happens when you copy songs

always dissconect the USB safely through the system tray at windows

in my case , to disconnect and exit USB mode directly i press O (back)

anyways, what's the maximum mp3 bitrate can the psp handle?
i know in h264 videos it's around 768, higher bitrate than that and you get a corrupted video file.

imo mp3 na mga files kay bati pagka rip... try other mp3, and maybe your memory is defective... try to format it using your pc uisng fat32 then try playing mp3 agian... if probem persist change mmc/psp.... and still got problems when you change everything? change the user...
