Default Where to spend Christmas and New Year?

I am a newly wed with no child yet. Since it's my first year to spend christmas/new year as a married one i'm in limbo to decide where to spend christmas. It could be either in my parents house, my in-laws house or in our rented house. What's your suggestions?

    Here's my suggestion:
    Christmas eve - your family
    Christmas morning - his family
Christmas evening - in your rented house
