This is really a nice movie..based on a true story about israeli athletes massacred @ Munich (Olympic Games) - i forgot the year..

One of the movies to watch out in 2006..

Based on the reviews I've read, it sounds promising. I hope Spielberg redeems himself on this one. Let's face it, War of the Worlds was lame and insulting.

OT: The only times I appreciated Steven Spielberg were when he made "Sugarland Express," "Jaws," "ET," "Encounters of the Third Kind," "Saving Private Ryan," "Schindler's List" and "The Terminal."

For the rest, he was just all hype. And with the emergence of Peter Jackson, Spielberg must have sulked in some corners.

i also liked "Catch Me If You Can".... no matter how unappealing the man may become at times to many screenwriters/directors I think he always has caution in watching over the 3 act structure and character arc of his films....

Israelis are crying foul over the film. It portryaed as Israelis as bad people. They also alleged that the fil i pro Palestininan.

The film revolves around the story of an ex Mossad who feel remorse of assassinating Palestinian personalities who are suspected of committing the Israeli Massacre athletes in the the 1972 Munich Olympics.

I guess the plot is all about that an eye for an eye principle is not good, to put it simply.

Yes, but isn't this film also an examination of conscience? And doesn't it portray both sides almost equally? Unless I've misunderstood and misread the essays I have about this film...
