I am more into how many Filipinos who will enjoy the benefits of this project. Kung katong mga 50 families of fishermen lang compare sa 80 million Filipinos, adto ko sa 80 million.

i read somewhere dat the disadvantages far outweighs more than the benefits in the long run...the oil drilling though means big bucks but will have IRREVERSIBLE effects sa atoa environ...(migrating whales & dolphins, fishing, corals, marine tourism, oil pollution)..

i also read that the oil supply there will last for around 20-25 yrs before ma-deplete...and the damage will have already been done that it would take lots of decades to repair the ecosystem...meaning, lots of generations will have to suffer.

even if ad2 ra na sa Pinamungahan (affects 50 fishers)...it will still affect the WHOLE TAÑON STRAIT w/c is almost half of Cebu's shoreline!

ambot lng jud ha...i believe more study is still needed.

i think dili those oil companies have measures to minimize pollution. it may pollute the sea but not totally. tourism in that place is not really that good and will do very little help our economy.
