Bro,

I have been struggling for the past couple of days with this problem. Im installing windows 2000 sp4, it goes through the process of formatting the harddrive then it proceeds to getting the necessary files copied to harddisk. It then reboots with the following message Press any key to boot from cd.......error loading operating system. I have tried everything replaced IDE cable, differant harddrive, different cd rom and cd installer.harddrive and cdrom jumper settings

How about trying different OS installer? Try to borrow an OS installer.

Try to repartition your HDD then reformat. Then install your OS.

Try this steps

1. boot to cmos
2. Sample set up of Hdd and Cd rom
Primary Master : HDD ---------> Change CHS to LBA mode or vice versa
Primary Salve : CD ---------> as is
3. Install Windows 2000
4. If error appear again. Change the primary master access mode

did u clean inside from you pc? if not, try to clean it.

Try og lain nga OS bro.. try Xp kun ana ba gihapon ang error. kun ok ra sa XP aw.. guba ang imo OS ins.
Pero kun dili gihapon, mo error gihapon siya aw. guba imo hardware (HDD o mobo)

Bro, how many installed memories in your PC?

1. Restore the bios to its default settings
2. Try daw ilis ang memory ug lain just to isolate the problem(single stick lang).
3.. If more than one, try to remove the other one and vice versa. There might be possibility that cause this error is Motherboard or memory.
4.Try lang pud clean ang pins sa memory with a paper and scrub gently.
