Im planning to buy a video card and my budget is below 2,500....what is the best video card that i can afford for my pc.

my mobo is 915g combo(below is the link of pic of my mobo):

im currently using onboard videocard and my memory is 512mb ddr pc400 pqi...question= do i need to buy video card or just buy additional memory... now i can play command and conquer generals zero hour...im planning to play another game which is COD4...so what do i need for upgrade?

It depends on the game requirements but buying a video card will boost you speed than using built-in video which would greatly slow your cpu down.

I agree with cloud 9 buying a pci video card. For more high games like what you post above the COD4, buy additional memory. By the way nice MOBO. MSI.
