I am just wondering and asking for inputs from iSTORYANS whom are majority foodlovers ... do you guys and gals think CEBUANOS and FILIPINOS are ready and will embrace AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CUISINE ? When I say AUTHENTIC ... dili siya westernized ha like MOON CAFE , TACO BELL , DEL TACO , TCO'S etc . Though daghan siya flavors that varies from what part of Mexico you came from , importante is authetic ang flavor .

hmm suntok sa buwan cgro ni spring, sa atong kina-iya anything bag.o dugukonun man dayon bt i doubt if it would last... kai kita hilig mn patikim-tikim suway kng unsay bag.o. atoang taste more favorable sa chinese nga mga luto.

but i think it would be a good break having one authentic mexican deli's dha sa atoa. :mrgreen:

majority of cebuanos probably don't know how authentic mexican food tastes like. i for one don't know. lipay na man ko sa taste sa El Loco.

RUDJARD .. bitaw bai sakto noh ? I mean unlike sa US , its part of the heritage no matter what . EVen White and Black people crave for it , anytime and anywhere and Mexican is as old as California itself . Sa Pilipinas or Cebu in specific , pul-anon kaayo ang market . Indeed Chinese food ang dili maluma , hehehe na brainwash man gud ta sa betsin .

To all , authentic MEXICAN FOOD :

- just spiced right , dili makasunog ug ngabil or tutunlan yet maka almuranas
- distinct flavor , beef will still be beef and pork will still be pork and the aroma and flavor desguise as spices blankets it
- cilantro , jalapenos and habaneros are the norm kickers
- real flour and corn tortillas are used instead of bread , crackers , pitas etc
- meat are chunks and pieces instead of ground pork or beef

naa ba Taco Bell diri sa Cebu? wala lagi ko kahibalo, asa man na dapit. Sa Moon Cafe ra man ko nakatilaw, kanang chimichanga ug nachos nila.
