my opinion bossing, i did not heard anything about WD regarding on warranty
kay ang seagate man gud== they offering 5yrs warranty
No problem with the Western HDD...
have 2 WD Raptors bro...no probs here
i have a 1gig WD..still alive and kicking after almost 10 years
i think walay problema ang WD sa durability. based on my experience and what 'experts' say..
hitachi = performance
western digital = durability
seagate = a little bit of both (300mb seagate still alive up to now)
maxtor/quantum = a little bit of both sad, although seagate is prolly somewhat better (20mb quantum still alive)
fujitsu = dali ra maguba (i have 2 dead fujitsu drives)
samsung = wala pa ko kasulay..hehe
ok, thank you kaayo sa inyo mga inputs mga bro. i need bigger space for some psp files, around 160gig. hehehe.... unya ako current hdd karon ky 160gig ramanpud.. dats why i need more hdd space.
dakua nimo ug FLASHDRIVE bro oie... hehehehe......Originally Posted by Der FüHRER

are there instances where some motherboards can not support a certain size of hard disk?
ako motherboard msi p965neo-f, support rani 400gig?
These WD drives are supposed to run cooler and quieter than the Seagate 7200.10 counterparts... Performance wise.. murag labaw gamay ang seagate 7200.10 16mb cache than the WD.
Its a choice between raw speed or efficiency (temp, noise)... I would personally go for the WD because di kaayo significant ang performance sa Seagate.. and naa na may 7200.11 drives which really perform well. Sa WD side, nindot ni to have in a system especially if ur particular about cooling and noise.
