Anybody has tried the new Asus Eee PC? Their website has promoted it to be the lowest cost "notebook" PC at less than 1Kg weight and half the size of most notebooks but priced at around P10k lang daw. Wa pa ko kakuha details sa specs, speed, etc. Would like to check with those nakasuway na if there are any here that has bought the unit.

tried using it, gamay... wala optical drive... then 4GB ra ang hardisk niya mura ra ug flash drive hehehe
celeron mobile diay ni then 512 na ang mem... with Wifi na

It doesn't have any optical drive. You have to buy an external dvd driver/writer if you want to watch dvds.

sa website they've got the color white across all the pages that shows the feature. But I've seen the actual one which was oddly black
