i have a friend from a company i've worked before who really likes him. he's also a surfer.

JJ is a surfer and a film producer. I got introduced to his music through the soundtrack of his surfing movie "Thicker Than Water". I got his three albums then lost the "In Between Dreams" but I'm getting another one tonight. He also has some collaboration with G. Love who plays harmonica in some of his songs and may be a little better in guitar skills.
Great contemporary songwriter.
