Think about a simple project on what you want to create.
Make a plan on how to design your simple project, then gather some resources from online tutorials or any tuts ebooks available.
Make a first move and apply what you have learn from tutorials. Create your first block of codes or structure until you can see
some output. Off course, as learning the first level of java, you will encounter tons of errors and debugging the codes.
It's a normal, don't give up. It's part of learning. Promise makat-on jud ka if mag set ka of your own project.

Daghan kaayu resources sa online. But you will not learn if mag cge raka basa, you need to apply it too.
Promise, sa kani na method, makat-on jud ka. 12 yrs ago, I am a JS dev. Mao ni akung gi buhat before during college days.
I stop working JS(J2EE) already after I went to abroad and focus Design front-end.
