Philippine banks accredited by PayPal

Hello. I just wanted to ask, what other banks in the Philippines can be linked to PayPal? My mother tried to open a savings account with Metrobank, so she can link it to her Paypal. She was denied by the bank; saying they no longer do business with PayPal because it has been used in illicit transactions. I thought the teller just made that up, maybe because she was not confident how PayPal works or it is new to her.

So, we would like to know if EastWest Bank, PNB and DBP are accredited by PayPal? Did anyone try transferring PayPal funds to either of the banks mentioned with no issues?

Any bank can be linked to PayPal! As long as it is visa/mastercard/etc(refer to paypal) affiliated. Naa koy metrobank(mastercard) that is connected with paypal also bdo as visa.

I also think that any bank can be connected to PayPal. This process system goes through card payment system, so if one bank is not issuing payment cards ( I doubt that one exists) then you should not be able to connect it with PayPal account
